Participation Information
We are pleased to invite Folk Ensembles, Choral Groups, Ballroom Dance Teams, Art Schools, Modern Ballet Groups, and Majorette Teams (children, youth, and adult groups) to participate in the V International Dance & Music Festival “Sarajevo Fest” in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, from August 7th to 11th, 2024.
The festival aims to present the cultural traditions of different countries, offering an opportunity for participants to come together, establish friendships, and showcase their culture through dance and music. This non-competitive festival will feature traditional and modern performances by international groups.
Participation Eligibility: Open to all groups, with no age restrictions (Children, Youth, and Adult groups).
Group Size Limit: Each group may consist of up to 60 members, including dancers, managers, musicians, and family members.
Performance Requirements: Each ensemble should prepare at least 2 folk dances (10 minutes each), with accompanying orchestra or music on USB.
Number of Participants: Only 3 groups per country can participate.
Costumes: The festival will honor the best traditional costumes for men and women, as well as the best dancing couple.
Group Requirements:
Send a short CV and photos of your group.
Bring your national flag.
Groups should arrange their own transport for arrival and departure.
Participation Fee:
135 EUR per person for 3-night full-board accommodation (includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and tourist tax).
