Participation Information
We are pleased to invite folk ensembles, choral groups, art schools, majorette teams, orchestras, ballroom dance groups, and modern dance teams (children, youth, and adult groups) to participate in the XXI International Music, Art, Fine & Folk-Dance Festival “Festival Days in Durres”, to be held from September 12–16, 2024, in Durres, Albania.
The festival’s primary aim is to showcase the cultural traditions of different countries, fostering friendship and cultural exchange through dance and music. This non-competitive festival encourages groups to present their traditions in public spaces like streets and squares.
General Rules:
The festival is open to folk and choir ensembles, orchestras, majorette teams, and modern dance groups, with no restriction on gender or age.
Each country is allowed to send up to 3 groups.
Groups can have up to 70 participants, including dancers, managers, musicians, and family members.
Each group must prepare 2 folk dances (10-15 minutes each) with orchestra or USB for accompaniment. For choral groups, a free program of 15 minutes is required.
Groups must send a short CV and photos for the group.
Groups must bring their national flag.
Each group is responsible for their own transportation to and from the festival.
