With pleasure we INVITE (folk ensembles,choral groups, majorette teams, brass bands….) (children, youth and adult groups) to participate on XX International music & dance festival “PARLIA MUSIC FEST ” 20 – 24 June , Paralia – Olimpic,Katerini 2024
Eligibility: The festival welcomes children and youth folklore dance groups, modern dance groups, vocal groups, instrumental groups, and soloists, regardless of gender or age.
Accommodation: Groups will stay in hotels and apartments along Paralia or Olympic Beach, such as Yakintos, Katerina, Xenia Zeus, Ifigenia, Despina, London, Phenix, all offering proximity to the beach and full capacity availability.
Room Arrangement: Rooms include multiple accommodations with private bathrooms. Air conditioning is available for an additional fee of 5-7 euros per room per day, depending on the accommodation.
Participation Fees:
Extras: For every 25 people, one participant will attend for free
Additional Costs:
Tourist tax is 2 EUR per person/day, payable separately.
Optional double rooms for group leaders or drivers available at 10 euros/person/day.
Extended Stay: Participants may extend their stay in Paralia for a special rate of 33 euros per day per person (HB).
Optional Extended Stay: Additional festival evening and excursions are available for those who extend their stay.
Participation Fees: For groups arriving by plane, transport from Thessaloniki Airport (75 km from Paralia) can be arranged, with costs based on the group size.
Day 1
13:00 Arrival in Paralia, hotel accommodation, and free beach time.
18:00 – 19:00 Dinner at the hotel.
21:00 Welcome reception for group leaders.
Day 2
07:00 – 08:30 Breakfast.
11:00 – 16:00 Optional boat excursion.
18:00 – 19:00 Dinner at the hotel.
21:00 Welcome party for all participants at Aloha Beach.
Day 3
07:00 – 08:30 Breakfast.
11:00 – 16:00 Optional boat excursion or visits to Meteora or Thessaloniki.
18:00 – 19:00 Dinner at the hotel.
19:30 – 23:00 Festival evening in Paralia or Olympic Beach Square with performances, certificates, and gift exchange on stage.
Day 4
09:00 – 10:00 Breakfast.
11:00 – 17:00 Free beach time or an optional visit to Meteora.
21:00 Free time to explore Paralia.
Day 5
09:00 – 11:00 Breakfast and participant departure.
Departure from Paralia port at 9:00 a.m.
Activities include swimming stops, lunch with grilled fish, Greek salad, juice or wine, ouzo, and scenic exploration of Variko Beach.
Return to Paralia port by 3:30 p.m.
Visits to historical Meteora and Thessaloniki are available for those interested.
