Participation Info

We are pleased to invite Children’s, Youth, and Adult choral groups to participate in the XI International Choir Festival “SINGING IN PARALIA.” The festival aims to present and promote choral music from various countries, encourage experience exchange, and provide an opportunity for members of different groups to establish friendships and present their cultures.

Eligibility:

Children’s Choirs: 2/3 of the participants must be 16 or younger.

Youth Choirs: 2/3 of the participants must be 27 or younger.

Adult Choirs: 1/3 of the participants must be older than 27.

Application Requirements:

Submit an application form along with a photograph of the choir and conductor.

The festival is non-competitive and includes three performance sections:

Section One: Obligatory performance (12-15 minutes) at various outdoor locations.

Section Two: Spiritual music (8-14 minutes).

Section Three: Pop or folk music (8-14 minutes).

Performance Requirements:

All choirs must perform in at least two sections.

Groups are limited to a maximum of 70 members, including singers, managers, and musicians.

Choirs must prepare at least two performances for two sections, lasting 8-14 minutes each.

Short CV and photos of the choirs and conductor must be sent by mail.

Participants should bring their national flag.

Choir groups are responsible for their own transport for arrival and departure.
