Participation Info
We invite folk groups, choral groups, orchestras, and majorette teams (children, youth, and adult groups) to participate in the XXXI International Music & Dance Festival “OHRID SPRING FESTIVAL,” taking place from March 20 to 23, 2025, in Ohrid, Macedonia.
Festival Purpose: The festival’s primary goal is to showcase the cultural traditions of different countries and provide an opportunity for group members to connect, establish friendships, and present their cultures through dance and music.
General Rules:
The festival is a non-competitive showcase of traditional and modern dances, choral groups, and majorette teams.
All folklore, choral groups, and majorette teams have the right to participate. Groups can include folklore dance, modern dance, vocal groups, instrumental groups, and soloists.
A maximum of three groups from each country can participate.
Each group may consist of up to 50 members, including dancers, managers, and musicians.
Groups must prepare at least two dances, each lasting 10-15 minutes, performed with live orchestra or CD. Performances will occur in the evenings, allowing time for sightseeing during the day.
Groups should submit a short CV and 2-3 photos, bring a flag of their country, and arrange their own transport for arrival and departure.
