With pleasure, we INVITE you (folk groups, dance groups, vocal and choir groups, majorette teams, orchestras, modern dance, and both children and adult groups) to participate in the XXV International Music & Folk-Dance Festival “OHRID PEARL,” taking place from June 12 to 16 in Ohrid, North Macedonia.
The intention of our invitation and the festival’s light motive is to present the cultural traditions of different countries and provide an opportunity for group members to come together, establish friendships, and present their culture through dance and music.
This is a non-competitive festival.

INSURANCE:
Personal responsibility and health insurance are within the other obligations of the groups. First Aid and Medical Hospital will be available, medical services must be covered by the group.
On your request, You can continue your stay in Ohrid. Price will be 23 Euro per day per person HB – price is special for the participants in festivals. For additional days we will prepare special program for you and festival evening in other city.
The festival will organize the transport for the groups coming by plane by picking them up from airport, during the festival days and back to the airport. You can also arrive through Skopje, Tirana or Thessaloniki Airport which are only 200 km from Ohrid. The cost of the transportation will be covered by the group and will be additionally agreed according to their number. We will also assist you in obtaining visa for Macedonia if necessary. Also, you can arrive in Ohrid airport by plane and we will organize transfer from the airport to the hotel free of charge.

Day 5 & 6 include visits to Struga city, Vevcani ethno village, and guided tours of Skopje city for those wishing to extend their experience.
Ohrid offers numerous cultural and historical sites worth visiting. The festival program includes excursions that allow participants to explore the beauty of Ohrid:
Day 2:
Sightseeing in Ohrid, visiting cultural monuments (St. Sofia Church, Samoil Fortress, Antique Theatre, Plaosnik, St. Kaneo Church).
Day 3:
Cruising on Ohrid Lake, visiting the Museum on Water and the famous tourist resort St. Naum Monastery (price: 12 euros per person, includes lunch packet on the boat and dancing boat).
Day 4:
Visiting Stara Carsija, the oldest tree called Cinar, Biljanini Izvori, Ohrid pearl manufactory, and opportunities for shopping.
