Participation Information



Festival Format: The festival is a non-competitive showcase of traditional and modern dances, choral performances, brass bands, orchestras, and majorette teams.

Participant Eligibility:

Children’s Ensembles: 2/3 of participants must be 16 or younger.

Youth Ensembles: 2/3 of participants must be 25 or younger.

Adult Ensembles: 1/3 of participants must be older than 25.

Group Limit: A maximum of three groups from each country.

Group Size: Each group should consist of 20 to 60 members, including dancers, managers, and musicians.

Performance Requirements: Ensembles must prepare at least two dances, totaling 12-15 minutes. Performances will occur in the evening.

Application Requirements: Submit a short CV (5-6 sentences in English) and three photos of the group. Groups should also bring their national flag.

Transport: Each ensemble must arrange their own transport for arrival and departure.

Accommodation Information



Fees:

€107 per person for 3 nights (half board: 2 meals per day).

€137 per person for 4 nights (half board: 2 meals per day).

Hotel Options: Accommodation in central Budva hotels, such as Hotel Vila Braic or Hotel Lovcen in Suto More, in triple or quadruple rooms.

Special Arrangements: Leaders of the group and drivers will have two double rooms. Additional double rooms can be arranged at an extra cost of €10 per person per day.

Additional Costs: Montenegro tourist tax and insurance are €1.50 per person per day, which is not included in the accommodation price.

Program Information



Day 1: Arrival

13:00: Arrival at the hotel, check-in, and leisure (swimming and sunbathing).

19:00 – 20:00: Dinner at the hotel.

20:00: Welcome reception with group leaders.



Day 2: Leisure and Sightseeing

08:00 – 10:00: Breakfast.

10:00 – 14:00: Beach time or optional Bar sightseeing.

18:00 – 19:30: Dinner at the hotel.

20:00 – 23:30: Free time.



Day 3: Excursion Day

08:00 – 10:00: Breakfast.

10:00 – 18:00: Beach time or visit to Dubrovnik by bus.

18:00 – 19:30: Dinner at the hotel.

21:00 – 23:00: Free time.



Day 4: Festival Evening

09:00 – 10:00: Breakfast.

11:00 – 16:00: Beach time and free activities.

19:00 – 20:00: Dinner at the hotel.

21:00: Festival evening.



Day 5: Departure

09:00 – 10:00: Breakfast.

11:00: Departure of participants.



Additional Information

Participation Fee Includes:

24 participants (25th is free).

Souvenirs and gifts for each group.

Certificates for attendance.

Drinks during performances.

Festival advertising (press releases, social media promotion, posters, and flyers).



Insurance: Personal responsibility and health insurance are the group’s obligation. First aid and medical services will be available.



Post-Festival: Participants can extend their stay at a special price of €34 per day per person (half board). Detailed programs will be provided upon arrival.



Transport Arrangements: The festival will organize transport for groups arriving by plane from Tivat airport during the festival, with costs covered by the group.

Excursion Information



Excursion Opportunities: Participants can enjoy various sightseeing options, including:

– Beach time or Bar sightseeing (Day 2).

– Optional visit to Dubrovnik by bus (Day 3).

– Exploration of Budva’s historical sites.
