We warmly invite folk groups, choral groups, orchestras, majorette teams, ballroom dance teams, and modern dance troupes, consisting of children, youth, and adult performers, to participate in the XVIII International Music & Folk-Dance Festival “Mogren Fest.”
Participants:
Ensembles from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Ukraine, Turkey, Serbia, Bosnia, Romania, Slovenia, Italy, Sweden, Moldova, Armenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, and Hungary are welcome.
Festival Theme:
The festival’s light motif is to showcase the cultural traditions of various countries and to foster friendships among participants through dance and music.
General Rules:
Non-competitive showcase of traditional and modern dances, choral groups, majorette teams, orchestras, and brass bands.
Every folklore, choral, modern dance, and majorette team has the right to participate.
The number of participants is limited (only 3 groups from each country).
Each group should consist of a maximum of 80 members, including dancers, managers, musicians, and family members.
Ensembles must prepare at least 2 dances, each 10-15 minutes long, with a USB or orchestra accompaniment.
Participants should bring their national flag.
Groups must have their own transportation for arrival and departure.
A short CV and 3 photos of the group must be submitted.
Accommodation Info
Participation Fee:
107 Euro for 3 HB per person (3 nights with 2 meals per day – open buffet) 137 Euro for 4 HB per person (4 nights with 2 meals per day – open buffet)
This fee covers hotel accommodation in a 3-star hotel (e.g., Hotel Boris or similar) with meals in 2/2 and triple or quadruple rooms. Organizers provide 2/2 rooms for drivers and group leaders; an additional fee of 8 Euro per day per person applies for extra rooms.
Tourist Tax:
An additional fee of 1.5 Euro per person per day will be charged for the Montenegro tourist tax.
Additional Stay:
Participants wishing to extend their stay in Budva can do so at a special price of 32 Euro per day per person (half-board).

Additional Information
The festival organizers will provide:
One free participant for every 24 paying participants.
Souvenirs and gifts for each group.
A welcome cocktail.
Certificates of attendance.
Drinks during performances.
Promotion of the festival through press releases and social media.
Insurance:
Personal responsibility and health insurance are the groups’ obligations. First aid and medical facilities will be available.
Transportation:
For transportation arrangements, the festival organizers will facilitate pickups from Tivat airport during the festival days. Costs will be covered by the groups and will be agreed upon based on the number of participants.
Excursion Info
During the festival, participants will have opportunities for sightseeing, including visits to Kotor, Dubrovnik (Croatia), or Sveti Stefan by boat (optional).
