Participation Information

With pleasure we INVITE (folk ensembles,choral groups and majorette teams) (children, youth and adult groups) to participate on XXI International Side  Dance Music Festival”   02 – 08 October   SIDE, Antalya,TURKEY 2025 

The intention of our invitation  and the Festival light motive is to present the cultural tradition of different countries and to provide an opportunity for the members of groups to get together, to establish friendships and culture presentation trough dance and music.The idea of the Festival is to bring the music closer to the people and to present the music on the streets and the squares.The festival is open for folk and choir ensembles, as well as orchestras and majorettes regardless of the members gender and age.

 

General rules :

  •  is a non-competitive sample of traditional and modern dances,orchestras, brass bands, modern dance, choir and vocal groups.
  • Every Folklore, Choral group, modern dance, majorette Teams, orchestras  has the right to participate:

-Children’s ensembles

-Youth ensembles

-Adult ensembles

  • The number of participants is limited (only 3  groups from each country),
  • Early check-in price is 15 Euro per person – includes food and bavarege service, not room.
  • Late check-out price is 15 Euro per person – includes food and bavarege service, not room.
  • Each group should consist of most 70 members including dancers, managers, musicians and family number,
  • Ensemble should have prepared program 12-15 minutes each with orchestra or USB.
  • For choral groups should prepare free program about 12 minutes The performances will be in the evening hours so you can plan the day ahead and use it for visiting the historical part of the city and  excursions.
  • To send us short CV (5-6 sentences on English) and photos of the group,
  • To have a flag of your country,
  • Ensembles should have there own transport for arrival and departure,

Accommodation Information

Participation fee:

  • 156 Euro per person for 5 days/ 4 nights in triple rooms (1 french bed and 1 single bed), ALL INCLUSIVE (including alcohol drinks)

Double room price is 44 Euro per person per day

Quadruple Family room (dublex) price is 43 Euro per person per day

Single room price is 78 Euro per person per day

Additional day – 39 Euro per person

Festival organizers provide:

  • for 25 dancers – one gratis
  • souvenir and gift for each group
  • Welcome reception with leaders of the group with welcome drink
  • Certificate for attendance
  • tourist guides for sightseeing of the town
  • free parking
  • advertising of the festival (press release, Social network promotion  posters)

The city tax is 1.5 euro per person per day additional

Insurance:
Personal responsibility and health insurance are within the other obligations of the groups. First Aid and Medical Hospital will be available, medical services must be covered by the group

  13.00.Arrivalin Antalia,  hotel accommodation and  free time (beach time)

  14.00 – 16.00 Lunch in hotel – all inclusive

18.00 – 21.00 Dinner in hotel – all inclusiv

 21.00 – 22.30 Meeting with director of the festival

  • Day 2

 08.00 -10.00 Breakfast,

 10.00 -16.00 Boat excursion in the blue waters  with stop overs for swimming and lunch on the boat (optional)

13.00-15.00 Lunch in hotel (all inclusive)

      19.00 – 21.00 Dinner in hotel – all inclusive

21.00 – 23.00 Presentation and  Festival evening 

  •     Day 3   

 08.00 -10.00 Breakfast, (all inclusive)

11.00 Welcome reception with leader of the groups in Managvat municipality with Major of the city (presents from major)

 13.00 Beach time or visiting Antalya (optional) or visiting Side (Antigue city)

14.00 Lunch in hotel – all inclusive

19.00 – 21.00 Dinner in hotel – all inclusive

21.00 – 23.00 Welcome speech officials

                  Ceremony of opening of the festival

   11.00 – 17.00 Beach time or Visiting  Efesus  (very famous historical place )(optional)

   13.00 – 15.00 Lunch in hotel – all inclusive

19.00 – 21.00 Dinner (all inclusive)

    21.00 Second festival evening in Side (оптионал)
