Participation Information
The “Celebration in Spain” Festival-Competition is set to take place on the famous Costa Brava, one of Spain’s most visited coastal regions. This event serves as a creative marathon, aimed at bringing together participants to explore different cultures and art forms. The festival’s primary goals are:
Revival, preservation, and development of national cultures.
Establishment of contacts between creative groups and an exchange of experiences.
Support and promotion of youth creativity.
Eligible Participants: Creative children’s collectives and individual performers of all ages may participate in the following categories:
Vocal: (Choirs, ensembles, groups, quartets, trios, duets, and soloists)
Modern, National, Academic, Pop, Jazz, Rock, Rap, etc.
Performance: 2 songs (max 3.5 min each)
Evaluation Criteria: Intonation, complexity, repertoire suitability, artistry, and stage presence.
Choreography: (Groups, ensembles, soloists)
Classical, Ballroom, Modern, National, Pop, Social, and Mixed styles.
Performance: 2 dances (max 3 min each)
Evaluation Criteria: Technique, composition, charisma, music choice, artistry.
Art Gymnastics: (Groups, soloists)
Performance: 2 routines (Groups max 3 min, Soloists max 2 min)
Evaluation Criteria: Technique, composition, charisma, artistry.
Aerobics: (Groups, soloists)
Performance: 2 routines (Groups max 3 min, Soloists max 2 min)
Evaluation Criteria: Training level, composition, technical capabilities, artistry.
Original Genre: (Acrobatics, juggling, clownery, etc.)
Performance: 2 acts (max 3 min for groups, max 2 min for soloists)
Evaluation Criteria: Technical skills, artistry, complexity, and program decoration.
Instrumental Music: (Ensembles, orchestras, soloists)
Genres: Modern, Pop, National, Classical, Ethnic, etc.
Evaluation Criteria: Instrument proficiency, intonation, complexity, ensemble dynamics, artistry.
Age Categories:
– Under 9 years – 10 – 13 years – 14 – 16 years – 17 – 21 years – 22 years and older Conditions of Participation:
– Each participant must submit high-quality background music (CD/DVD). – Every act must be accompanied by background music (max. 4 minutes per act). – Groups are responsible for their members during the festival and in free time. – The jury’s evaluation is final, based on a score-rating system. Prizes and Awards:
– Titles: Grand Prix, 1st Degree Winner, 2nd Degree Winner, 3rd Degree Winner, Award Winner, Participant. – Certificates and diplomas are provided to all participants. – Group leaders receive official thank-you letters. – Additional awards may be provided by sponsors.
