We warmly invite folk ensembles, choral groups, ballroom dance teams, art schools, music theatre, modern dance teams, orchestras, and majorette teams, specifically children and youth groups, to participate in the XI Costa Brava International Folk Festival, organized by Malgrat Municipality.
This festival welcomes folk groups, flag-waving groups, and bagpipe bands. The festival will feature both parades and performances in the parks and squares of Malgrat de Mar and is non-competitive.
Accommodation Info
Participants will be accommodated in a 4-star hotel on a full board basis (breakfast, lunch, and dinner served buffet-style) located in the tourist area of Malgrat de Mar. The following packages are available:

Morning: Official welcome ceremony for delegates at the Local Council’s Headquarters
Afternoon: Parade along the waterfront and main streets of Malgrat, followed by performances at Parc Campassol
Evening: Spectacular show at the hotel with participation from all groups
Saturday, 12th October
Morning: Free time to explore Malgrat de Mar or optional excursion
Afternoon: Performances by all groups at Plaza J.A. Clavé
Sunday, 13th October
Morning: Free time to explore Malgrat de Mar or optional excursion
Afternoon: Final parade and performances by all groups, followed by an award ceremony by the Festival Organization and local authorities
Monday, 14th October
Departure of groups
Note: The final programme will be issued 10 days before the festival. The performance and excursion schedules are subject to modification for organizational purposes.
Additional Information:
Each group is responsible for airfare/transportation to Malgrat de Mar.
Airport transfers from Barcelona or Girona airports can be arranged upon request.
Arrangements can be made for groups wishing to arrive earlier or depart later than the festival dates.
An initial deposit of 30% of the total amount will be required upon confirming participation; this deposit is non-refundable.
Extra nights are available for €45 per person per night on a full board basis.
