We are pleased to invite folk ensembles, choral groups, orchestras, brass bands, majorette teams, vocal groups, art schools, and children, youth, and adult groups to participate in the 7th KIFF: Open the Sky of Andaman. This event offers a unique opportunity to experience and learn about Thai traditional culture while sharing performances from around the world in a non-competitive environment. The festival aligns with Thailand’s “Cultural Soft Power” policy, allowing participants to showcase traditional or modern dances and music.
Participation Information
Duration of Performances: Each ensemble should prepare a **10-minute dance or music performance**. Group Size and Age: No age restrictions; groups can range from **1 to 20 members**. Group Requirements: – Bring your **country flag** and a **gift** for exchanging with other groups. – Bring **souvenirs, traditional handicrafts, or other items** for sale at the “SME 2024 World’s Fair” activity booth.
Performances:
International Stage: Participate in performances on the international stage.
Parade: Join the community for a cultural parade.
Fashion Show: Take part in the International Traditional Costume Fashion Show.
Cultural Exchange:
Attend a Thai Cultural Workshop and participate in interactive classroom sessions within schools and the local community.
Engage with the community in exhibitions and local souvenir sales.
Participate in team greetings and dance exchange training.
Group leaders are invited to deliver a speech on cultural heritage and happiness, followed by a leader team meeting and gift exchange.
