Participation Information



The Festival’s intention is to present the cultural traditions of different countries and provide an opportunity for group members to establish friendships and showcase their culture through dance and music. The event brings music to the streets and squares, making it accessible to the public.

The festival is open to folk ensembles, choirs, orchestras, and majorette groups, regardless of members’ age or gender. Ensembles from all over the world are invited to apply, with no limits on participant numbers.

Due to high interest, the Festival is held both in spring and autumn, with each session accommodating 60 ensembles. Participating ensembles will have the opportunity to perform four times:

– A defile in the center of Diano Marina
– A performance on stage
– A performance in the center of Sanremo
– A performance on the renowned Promenade de la Croisette in Cannes

This festival is recognized as one of the most prestigious in Europe and worldwide, featuring top ensembles from various countries.

Accommodation Information



The price for the full festival package is €195 per participant for 4 HB. The package includes:

– Lodging in 3-star hotels in Diano Marina and San Bartolomeo al Mare in two-bed, three-bed, or four-bed rooms
Breakfast (buffet) and dinner
– Services of a permanent group guide

The package does not include:

Transport costs for the group
Bus parking fees (if applicable)
Entry fees for Monaco and Monte Carlo
– Costs of international travel health insurance
– Individual personal expenses
– Extra charge for single-bed rooms
Local bus transport fees for participants arriving by plane

Program Information



Day 1:

– Arrival of the groups in Diano Marina and San Bartolomeo al Mare between 12:00 and 14:00
– Transfer to hotels and rehearsal (optional)
– Free time for sightseeing
– Dinner and return to the hotel for the night
Organization board meeting at 21:00 with representatives of all ensembles, including a press conference and TV Rai Uno report.

Day 2:

– Breakfast at 9:00, followed by the optional excursion to Nice, Èze, Monaco, and Monte Carlo.
– Evening return to the hotel.

Day 3:

– Breakfast from 7:30 to 9:00. Participants will change into their costumes.
– Departure to Sanremo at 10:30, with performances in the pedestrian zone from 11:30 to 13:00.
– Departure to Cannes at 13:30, followed by performances on the Promenade de la Croisette from 14:30 to 16:30.
– Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 4:

– After breakfast, preparation for the defile and main performance.
Defile at 15:00 in the center of Diano Marina, followed by the main performance on a beautiful seaside stage at 16:00.
– After all performances, an award ceremony will be held, followed by a party for all participants.

Day 5:

– Breakfast and departure from the hotel. Individual departures of the groups.

Excursions Information



On the second day, after breakfast, there is an optional excursion to visit the enchanting French cities of Nice, Èze, Monaco, and Monte Carlo. Highlights of the trip include:

– A tour of the medieval town of Èze and the famous Fragonard perfume factory
– A visit to Nice, including panoramic views, Mason Square, the Palace of Justice, and the flower market
– A visit to Monaco and Monte Carlo, iconic locations between the Alps and the Mediterranean, known for their blend of dreamlike elegance and reality.
