The upcoming International Music Festival will take place in Taormina and its surrounding areas, inviting a diverse array of performers. Eligible groups include:
Concert, marching, street, and pipe and drum bands
Wind orchestras
Folk groups
Flag-throwing groups
Bands with majorettes
Groups of majorettes
Historical groups

Sicily, a historic meeting point of various cultures, provides an excellent backdrop for this celebration of musical diversity. The festival is open to all kinds of bands and folk groups, allowing participants to showcase their unique music, culture, and traditions in the stunning setting of Taormina. This event aims to connect people through the universal language of music, transcending language barriers and fostering social interaction among groups and audiences passionate about music and folk traditions.
The festival is organized with the support of Taormina’s Municipality and the Sicily Region’s Tourism and Culture Office.
Accommodation Information
Participants can choose from several accommodation packages, all based in a 3-Star Hotel, as provided by the organization. Below are the available packages:

If extra nights are required due to flight itineraries, arrangements can be made upon request.
For groups choosing the package with transfers included, the price covers one transfer for the group to and from Catania Airport to the hotel. Transfers for participants arriving at different times can be arranged upon request.
Program Information
Day 1:
Arrival of the group at Catania International Airport and transfer to the hotel in the Taormina, Letojanni, or Giardini Naxos area.
Optional guided excursion to Catania city center based on arrival time.
Day 2:
Free morning or optional cultural excursion.
Late afternoon: Parade and performances by all participating groups.
Day 3:
Free morning or optional cultural excursion.
Evening: Final performances and parades by all participating groups, including local folk groups. Participation certificates will be awarded at the end.
Day 4:
Departure of all groups.
Optional guided excursion based on departure time.
Note: The hours and days of exhibitions and outings are provisional and may be modified for organizational purposes. The finalized program will be distributed 10 days before the event.
Excursion Information
During the festival, optional daily excursions will be organized, providing participants with the opportunity to explore some of Sicily’s most famous locations, including:
Catania city center, featuring the Piazza del Duomo, the Fontana dell’Elefante statue, Catania Cathedral, the Greek/Roman Theatre, and the medieval Castello Ursino.
Mount Etna, the most active volcano in Europe, along with other remarkable venues.
